Very Vintage Birthday

In the new Autumn-Winter mini catalogue, there is a new jumbo roller stamp called “Very Vintage”.

I have used it here as a background for this birthday card.

I have also stamped one of the flower images from the hostess set “Echoes of Kindness” onto Blush Blossom card stock and added some extra colour using Blender pens.

I am really liking the new “In Colour” Rich Razzleberry. It teams up very nicely with Basic grey.

Big Shot embossing

Stampin’ Up! have finally listened to all our requests for the “Big Shot” and released it in the new Autumn-Winter mini catalogue.

The Autumn-Winter mini catalogue runs for five months and is available from April 1st thru to August 31st 2010.

As well as the Big Shot itself, there are also a variety of cutting dies and embossing dies to go with it.

The one I have used here is the Perfect Polka Dots embossing folder. It is a great all-rounder that has indefinite uses.

I have teamed it up with one of the new “In colours” that is available with the mini catalogue. It is called “Rich Razzleberry”. It has coordinating cardstock, ink pads and ribbon. One of the new Designer Series Paper “Cottage Wall” also features this colour. At the bottom of this card you can see the DSP.

I have used a similar design for this card. Embossed card stock at the top, DSP at the bottom, and ribbon in the middle.

The great thing about this ribbon is that you can use both sides with different effects. You can also use the different sides of the DSP with different outcomes as well.

Because of the co-incidental placement of images on the DSP, I have used that as my inspiration for slightly changing the position of the main stamped image. And to balance that added some punched hearts from coordinating card-stock.

If you would like to know more about any of these products, contact me today, and I can send you some info and even organise a class as well.
